Our current focus is on nurturing conservation leadership across Africa in a way that drives inclusion, diversity, and gender equality. AFRICAN-LED CONSERVATION CAPACITY BUILDING
WildTeam's 3-year project trains 60 African lecturers to break barriers, educating 1,200 students in conservation skills, fostering careers, and contributing to Africa's resilience against climate change. Fundraising is vital for staff, bursaries, and material translation.
CATALYSING WOMEN-LED CONSERVATION IN AFRICA
WildTeam's 3-year project provides 600 African female conservationists with training bursaries for vital skills. Promoting career growth, fundraising, and effective conservation, it fosters diversity and inclusivity. Matching funds secured; seeking support for bursaries and staff time.
WILDHUB: THE CONSERVATION SECTORS ONLINE COMMUNITY
WildHub is a 4,000 strong online community, that facilitates knowledge sharing and networking among conservationists worldwide. The next step is to hand over WildHub's management and decision making to national NGOs in lower-income countries, to build diversity in the sector and tailor support for conservationists in regions with limited opportunities and resources.
