INDIRECT CONSERVATION IMPACT FROM TRAINING
We measure our indirect impact by conducting an annual online survey to ask alumni how their new skills have effected their conservation work. The indirect impact indicators below are only derived from responses from the 5% of alumni who responded to the survey, so the actual indicator values will be much higher.
in conservation funds raised.
Every £220 spent on acquiring a new skill results in 6,500 km2 of wild areas being better conserved. The total wild area is equivelent to 21.5 x the size of the UK.
